Just got my BCM AR put together.

Got my BCM lower a week ago. The upper just came in. Can't wait to take it out and test it!
Still deciding over the new grip though. I want a rubberized one, my hubs thinks its best to have the storage. Has anyone tried the Command Arms one? It sounds like a good compromise.

Welcome & congrats on your build. I have a CAA grip. Its ok, but I prefer the Tango Down grips myself. It kicks back a little more than the CAA grip & is a little slimmer in profile. The Ergo grip is also a good option. I'm assuming you have smaller hands by you username & the CAA grip is somewhat thick which you may not be comfortable with.

Ergo grip is rubber, and has storage. Problem solved.

Not sure that Ergo makes anything except the one with the finger slots. If you don't have big hands the ergo won't feel good at all, just something to think about before you buy.

Felt horrible for me upfront, then I got use to it.

Not that bad honestly, went shooting with mine installed for the first time Wed.

Though if you have small hands I'd go with a Hogue grip instead.

The Daniel Defense quad rails are metal and make it front heavy. Maybe the Tango down would help to balance it then?

The Tangodown grip is not rubberized, and it drastically changes the angle of the grip. I would definitely recommend that you try one before purchasing. It does have storage.

Personally, I think the all-around best rubberized grip is the Ergo. They fit the widest variety of hands, are rubber, and have storage.

The Hogue is another one that I would recommend you try before buying, as their finger grooves are very heavily sculpted, so they don't fit a wide variety of hands, but when they fit they are very comfy. The Hogue offers no storage.

One more thing I would suggest for comfort is to change your bone stock M4 buttstock out for a Magpul MOE. It will make a big difference in the comfort when shooting your rifle.

Other than that, great looking rifle!

Actually, I feel the ergo would fit people with smaller hands better. I sold my ergo because it felt way too small/thin for my hands.

OP, I would check out the ergo or the hogue. If you can get past a rubberized grip, MOE grips feel great in the hand also.

Man I feel dumb. I have the Ergo on my AR as it came with the LMT complete lower, but I never knew that it had a storage compartment.

If you like CCA grip, you might want to look into FAB/Mako grip, which is an upgrade with storage.

It looks larger than other grips, but the grooves fit very well for average or smaller hands. It's a favorite on my VZ.

I'm also a big fan of the ERGO rubberized grip. I have long hands so it doesn't really fill my grip, but the texture helps with purchase. I think it will work well for anybody.
