Lots of people are at work. Knowledgeable people may not have seen your thread yet. There's no need to bump it so soon.

There are a few choices for an A2 upper like the Trijicon line -- Compact ACOG or full-sized ACOG. Have you considered changing out your A2 upper to an A3 upper? It'll cost you around $100 to do that but will open up many more optics choices to you.

The only option really for an A2 is the ARMS #2 (?) they also make an extended if the scope is particularly long, though it might not look balanced. You can put the scope in QR rings, ARMS #17's work nicely and there is a company that makes a QR delta cheek piece you can snap off and on, the Colt Delta's are fixed.

I enjoy the A2 uppers, though the A3's are really much more practical. I have them more for a nostalgia than anything else.

            Good luck

You need to be more specific about what kind of optic you want. Fixed power/variable scope; red dot; etc. BUT, the mount you want (which is the best $ can buy) is this one:http://www.mountsplus.com/AR-15_Acce...gs/ARMS-2.html (I know, I bought 2 for both my A1 & A2, but only ended up using ONE) So, if you need a brand new one, PM me & you'll get it for cheaper than anywhere you can buy one new!

People have laughed at how cheap I can be, but this is the first scope I ever mounted on an AR for coyotes, and it worked for me great! Now I use an SWFA 10x
