Tempe, AZ area, where's best place to shoot & who has best machine guns?

So next weekend we're heading to Tempe for four days and I want to take my rifles and un-neuter them for a weekend of fun. Does anyone have any favorite places they care to share?

Also we may be interested in renting some machine guns while we're there. Anyone have good/bad experiences. I looked at Scottsdale gun club and Arizona tactical firearms but have no idea what to expect for the $$. Not expecting this to be a cheap date but would prefer to get a nice package deal.

Scottsdale gun club lists their rental prices online but I believe you have to use range ammo in their guns and it will get very expensive quick on full auto. Caswell shooting range is very close to Tempe, not sure if they rent full auto but they might. Deset shooting has been pushed pretty far out of town now but there is the Ben Avery range just east of Mesa that's not bad.
