    H&K USC ?

Just saw one of these and thought it was an interesting idea. Do they have a good rep?

    TIA,

Good rep? As in do the people who own them like them? I'd say so. I've shot them and I liked them. They can be had for $1200-$2000 and don't really lose resale value when you do see them for sale.

Fun, but expensive... both the rifle and the now unobtainable .45acp.

I should add... Mine was a bit of a money pit, as I couldn't leave well enough alone.

      It looks like this:

        I'll say it's a money pit. I converted mine to 9mm.

I liked the platform so much I went out and bought another in grey so I could also shoot it in .45.

The 9mm conversion cost is ridiculous, even when you can find the parts.

I want to do it, but I just can't bring myself to spend it when I know I can buy a receiver and get my HK94 parts kit built out for LESS.

            I gotta ask.... wtf a $20 red dot on a $4k rifle?

Haha, seriously man! I'm hitting paper, not taking it to war. I have EoTech 512 on my SCAR, a Doctor on my PS90, and a Millet DMS-1 on my FS2000. The $65 Barska is just as accurate and holds zero as well as the others when it comes to hitting paper targets at the range. I only bought it because my 9mm has such little recoil that it didn't much matter to me and it's held zero for over a year with a 1000 rounds through it already. With that said, I just bought a CMore Railway for it from Midway, should be here to replace the Barska in about 5 days. I still plan on putting the Barska on my USC .45 as the cheapo red dot that's on their in the picture was given away. I'll probably update the pictures in the Rifles Gallery as soon as my CMore and faux suppressor from HDPS comes in.

A buddy of mine has one. Its nice, and fun to shoot. No complaints so far but he recently ordered a conversion kit. Carbine, conversion kit & ammo = empty pockets

That's because the rifle was produced primarily during the AWB.

Wait I thought there were some sort of legal issues with putting a VFG on these? I still have mine in the safe and she's never been out...

I like the gun, but I'd rather have an HK delayed roller locking gun.
The delayed rollers like the HK94 are smoother shooters.
