    Short buffer tube?

How could you achieve a short buffer tube? Cutting down the bolt and reducing the spring and buffer? Does anyone know where to get one of these short buffer tubes?

I am trying to do something like the HK416 PDW stock. (see attachment)

    This is what you need.

Should cycle okay, I have an AR pistol and it cycles fine, but mine is not this short.

Remember to stay over 26" at the most collapsed position...

If you put that PDW stock on it make sure your barrel length is 16+ inches and your rifle is over 30 inches with the stock collapsed.

I would advise against this. You still have a 30" OAL to adhere too so you aren't making your rifle any shorter and you are most likely increasing the chance you may have some cycling issues.

that my cheek weld would suck. I was also thinking about making the wire stock permantanly set on one position. I'll think about it...
