    Bore sight Question

I have two rifles, an AR-15 (which I just finally got today!) and a 7mm bolt action. I am wondering if anyone knows of a solid bore sight kit which would include both calibers (and preferably many of the other common calibers). Thanks

I got this and am very happy with it. I has adapters that will let you use it with many calibers. Gets you on paper quickly.

No need for any tools. You can look thru the bores of both the AR and Rem 700. My method will get the first shot within inches of the POI (point of aim) and it's easy. Don't waste your $ and ammo. here is how:

        1. Remove bolt from rifle and set securely on front and rear bag/rest.

        2. look thru the chamber end from rear of the action and center your 100 bullseye in the middle of the muzzle. You should see all 3 circles perfectly centered.

        3. without touching the rifle, look thru the scope and see where the cross hair is and zero the cross hair to the center of the bullseye.

        4. fire 1 shot and re-zero the cross hair.

This method is the most accurate, zero cost and it never fails me plus you can do steps 1 thru 3 at home.

^ that's what I do. But it doesn't work for diffrent firearms that you cannot see thru the rear of the barrel. It works best on bolt action an ar plateforms.

I have had the barska kit for a year or so and it has worked great on several different rifles

This is exactly the bore sight kit I bought. It works every time. One of my volunteers used a bore sighter the other day and the guy came back and said he couldn't hit crap. I used my kit and found it quite a bit off. I fixed it, sent him off, he reported back he got it sighted in that time.

                Why waste money?

I am the worst gun store owner ever. I should be convincing you to buy a $70 bore sighting kit that I make 50% on!
