9mm buffer in my AR...would you do it?

I have an extra colt 9mm buffer collecting dust from my now "deep sixed" 9mm ar build. Been thinking about putting it into my M4.

Other than supposedly eliminatiing the "Sproingy" sound from the carbine spring, what other benefits will this produce?

Would you do it??

I ran one in my 16" carbine length gas system AR and it was AWESOME. everyone that says its not needed is right but they also haven't tried it either. It seriously reduces felt recoil.

The sproing is music to my ears, much like the ping in a Garand.
