not a collapsible stock, but a removable stock...featureless?

I was looking at my ctr stock the other day and planning out how to pin it for a featureless configuration....I got this idea, to just fill the gap (with a wood dowel or something) inside the stock behind the buffer when the stock is in the fully extended position.

What do you ya'll think? would it pass muster as a featureless rifle? it wouldn't be collapsible, but the permanence of it is limited.

hard to say cause you can take off the cover piece without tools, unless you have the magpul rubber pad that screws on.

you could just pull the stock off the buffer tube and the wood would fall out. you'de have to be deliberate about it though.
