    Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308

Well I finally bought my Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 today and i'm stoked! Now I just have to keep focused and let the 10 days pass quietly. When I get it I will post pics.

Why? Because it says tactical... duh.
I pick my varmint in .308 up on Friday. I'm like a kid on Christmas eve.

I sent my 700 LTR off to these guys last week.

It should return in about 2 weeks from now. It's a horribly long wait for what I'm expecting. My brother (active duty) went through their school with one of their 700 with an 18" barrel making hits @1000 all day long. I personally watched him hit a 8x26" piece of steel at over 1000 yards repeatably with his .308
here's a link to a necro thread about it,

I liked the fact that I could do well from the bench as well as having a good hunting rifle in the field. The shorter 20" barrel fits the bill.

I'm up here in NorCal so I got a great deal from Just Guns in Sacramento. They have great customer service and work hard to get you a good deal.

For now I have a Nikon Buckmaster 6x18x40mm side focus that will work for now, but I will be saving money for a higher quality piece of glass in the near future.
