need referal for a precision rifle builder in SoCa, looking to have a precision medium range bolt action hunting rifle built. You guys know a qualified and experienced builder, San Diego preferred or SoCa?

My vote goes to a little known but highly qualified smith at Centurion Arms. Monty build some of the best bolt action precision guns in the country and his labor of love have yield some of the best shooting and the most accurate guns i have ever seen. the weapons build by him are on part with any famous bolt gun smith ion the country. as an example, he also have a very well established name in the AR market, his Mk12Mod1 SPR were used in Larry Vicker's Tactical Arms TV show, and also Knights Armament Museum bought an example for display.

If you are looking for a highly accurate bolt gun build to your spec, Monty would be the man to talk to.

Can you please relay the directions and/or meet time/place for upcoming CA Precision Rifle event on 28 Feb?

I'm interested in participating and would also like to ask you a few gunsmithing questions as well (e.g., regarding extractor pref's on Rem700LA's (Remington circlip or Sako type claw extractor?).

FYI, I have 4x4 truck and can offer ride(s)-- I'm in Antelope Valley.
