Cant help ya as far as your fit question but as far as a stock have you looked into the ACS? I like mine, havent got to use it yet but they are pretty sweet looking and offer a few nice things.

The AR system is built on the principle of interchangeable uppers so all AR-15-type uppers and lowers from any manufacturers will fit together.
A little wobble is normal. That extra bit of room has to do with manufacturing tolerances and makes it possible for all uppers and lowers to fit together. It has no effect on accuracy or function as everything that makes the bullet go straight is in the upper. The fit between the upper and lower has nothing to do with it.Last edited by Barney Gumble; 02-11-2010, 10:48 AM.Comment

NorCal was typing fast and a few words lacked vowels and the word Excessive was all hacked up.
Just having a little late-night fun......
(to answer his Q, nearly all well-made Uppers will fit nearly all well-made Lowers. Caveats included)Comment
