    Dare I ask...Colt upper assembly?

    Is there anywhere that a Colt upper can be got easily? I can't remember when I last saw one on CWS website and haven't seen them on any other online dealers. The gun stores I frequent, Gunrunners Duarte and Turners don't carry anything close to it. Rettings Culver City missed the Cali AR boat altogether. Will they ever become available to the average joe?

    PS I'm not interested in meeting you in a Ralphs parking lot to buy your mint Colt upper for a couple grand.

      Yeah, they are for sale all the time on ARF...
      That's your best bet, so long as you know what you're looking at.

      There are dealers such as specialized armament.

              Is this an upper assembly? There product description isn't as clear as CWS or some other online dealers.

                  Yes... You gotta know what you're looking for. That is a complete upper, know your model numbers.

                  Colt, IIRC is now selling 6920-6940 uppers to the public. It doesn't look like that's the kinda upper you're looking for though.

                          There are only a very small handful of true Colt dealers. None of them are user friendly (usually what happens with monopolies). Their prices leave much to be desired, as well.

                          To get the best pricing, you're much better off looking for an alternative source.
