    Parts check on 9mm build

Alright after searching through the forum I think I figured out what I need for a 9mm build. Here is what I got so far and please feel free to add any extra info:

    1. Upper Olympic Arms:
ISUTOTO menghadirkan pengalaman hiburan angka modern dengan konsep digital interaktif. Temukan keberuntungan Anda di platform aman & ramah pengguna.

    2. Mag block for sten mags...got 2 of them:

This is what I got so far...I know that the RRA requires other mods such as buffer tube and spring do I need this for this upper? For the mag block that is all I need for the rifle to take the mags correct? any other suggestions would be great.

you'll need something in 1/2x32 tpi to protect the muzzle threads, and a MMG or a U15 stock to get rid of the pg

other than that I think your good to go

I would think that the olympic arms upper comes with everything I need and from what I thought it should just be able to drop on a regular lower.

I think the sten mags need to be 10 rounds or less. When I was looking
at 9mm uppers this turned out to be a real problem. C Products is
coming out with a 10 rounder for RRA/Colt 9mm uppers, which you might
be able to use with the bullet button.

Dude, I say go with the RRA its cheaper by over a hundred bux.

They have a carbine length gas system too, but those are out of stock.

You can buy a mag block for modified UZI mags too but they're a little more expensive than the Stens

The RRA does not have a gas system. It is simple blowback.

Yeah at first I was going to go with the RRA but I later found out that the stens will not work ever in that upper plus with the RRA I would have to change the hammer, buffer tube and spring. If anyone knows of a place to get the olympic arms any cheaper than the website I would like to know,

all 9mm are blowback, its the one thing I don't like about them (it allows the weapon to discharge out of battery in theory)

Concerning discharging out of battery, this has happened to my friends 9mm AR upper. We both have Oly 9mm uppers and we like them a lot. At the range my friend was easing the bolt forward when charging the firearm, I was letting it slam forward. His AR had an out of battery discharge blowing gas back at him and breaking a small protrusion off of the bolt. He contacted Oly and they replaced his bolt. He lets the bolt slam forward now. We both have had no problems with the Oly uppers and KKF Sten adaptors. Just remember not to hit the regular mag release allowing the mag block to shift out of place. (FYI: these rifles are registered AWs.)

iirc, you dont need to replace the buffer tube, it's the buffer you need to change.
