    M14

I want to build a California legel M14 with a Pistol Grip and all the other commen looks of the AR-15. Does someone make a Bullet Button for an M14 and what are some of the products I should use to make this Rifle. Like the Troy battel rail and Springfield M1A1 recivers etc... I need some help and some guideance, since I can't find a complete rifle to my liking. Thanks.

The guy from US optics showed us a milled down mag release for the M1A that would work as a BB, but imo it ruins the utility of the standard configuration rifle.

The last thing I'd do to any of my M1A type rifles would be to turn the thing into a show pony - M1A's are designed to be battle rifles - leave them the way they are, and use the magazines design for that purpose.

If you want something shorter, go for a scout/squad and leave it the way it comes from the factory.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.
