    AR trigger stuck please help

    my friend and i took out his brand new stag ar fired 2 rounds then the hammer was stuck cocked to the rear we took the upper off and could not get the trigger to release it after messing with it a little it released now manually cocking the hammer it gets stuck every time(pulling the trigger wont release it)

          it was built by stag it ended up being the disconnecter spring it was cocked to the side in the groove thanks for your help

            Dismantle the trigger assembly and re-install correctly.
            I would as well check if there is a stuck spent primer.
            That happened to me once using a white box Winchester 223. Fired primers coming out of the pocket and getting stuck on my trigger.

              The disconnector spring is most likely missing.
              Press down on the tail of the disconnector and the hammer will release to the sear.
              Then check to see if the disconnector is flopping around, or if it's spring loaded.

                Remember the tapered spring is the disconnector spring. Wide part goes in first.
