As much as I like colt uppers and components, their lowers are nothing to write home about other than the roll mark... There is a lot of casting flash and the machining is pretty poor. Another option though... I shouldn't complain I guess. Then again, I am not sure about their politics these days but I was pretty burnt by their attitude towards civilian ownership beforehand.

Screw 'em. I fail to see the attraction in what will basically be just a roll mark on yet another lower. If they want to be weenies and not alter the stamp on their lowers to help get them off list for us, why should I bother with them? Where have they been for us the last 5 years? Where were they before, with their attitudes towards us non-military, non LEO types? Hmmm? I'll go get something from one of the companies who have helped us out in our fight to get OLLs here in the state. I just can't get that excited over what will, in all likelyhood, be yet another over-priced gun that fails to do anything differently than any other well-made rifle. A prancing pony stamped on the side means exactly zip to me.
