I just got my first M1A this past week and want to buy some ammo.
I want about 1000-2000 rnds.
What is the best rate per round that yall have been hearing about recently and, which internet site has it in stock so I can buy and then practice at the range?

$499 for 1000 rounds of Serbian Prvi - brass cased, boxer primed, noncorrosive, reloadable .308 from sgammo.com.

Ordered mine about a week ago, ~$530 shipped IIRC, UPS due to deliver it tomorrow. It's not on their web site any more but rumor has it they had a few cases in stock if you called them.

Hard to beat that deal.

If you're willing to use Brown Bear or something like that, you can get ammo for less than .50 cents a round.

Honestly, I am a beginner wanting to get used to being good with the iron sight at approx 100-300 yards. Brown Bear sounds about right. Thanks you all for the input.

you can pickup American Eagle boxes for around $13. PRVI for about $0.25 cheaper.
