I personally don't since I'm a Nor Cal-er, but there's probably someone at the OC show, too. Anyone from the forums here can volunteer at the booth, there's usually a call for volunteers in the Calguns Official Events forum anytime we have a table at any of the shows.

I also agree that the gun show wasn`t great.....BUT.....I found what I was looking for. 6.8mm spc ammo for 14.95 per box of 20. Thats a darn good deal. I stacked up on it. I parked across the street so it was free for me.

Been to two of them at Costa Mesa, one in Del Mar.

Personally, when I calculate the time\money (these are the same thing) spent getting up early, paying parking, paying admission, then standing in line for an hour+ listening to every gun "expert" lecture the person they brought with them....the difference between buying online and buying at the show is nearly negligible. If you're one of those "OMG SHTF I DON'T WANT THE GUV'MINT KNOWIN BOUT MY BOOLETZ", God Bless and knock yourself out.

        ON ANOTHER NOTE,

        Dear Taser Selling Guy,

As fun as that clacking noise is every time you activate the taser is, it's really annoying. In fact, after 3 gun shows, I'd be willing to buy one, so long as I get to jam it in your ****ing esophagus and click the button. I realize you think you're getting customers in your booth, but the kind of person who would buy a taser is likely to be deterred by you jamming a loud *** noisemaker at people's faces every 3 seconds. In favor of the potential detriment to your health, please cease and desist.

        <3,

        Friendly Gun-Show Customer.

Man, sounds like the gun shows down in the southern half of the state are a lot more heavily attended. Last two times I went shopping for ammo at the Cow Palace shows, I strolled in at about 2PM, walked right up to the Miwall booth, found the ammo I wanted, flagged down a Miwall rep, exchanged money for the goods, and was on my way in no time. No line waiting or getting up early required.
