first one is always fun.

given we no longer have to top load, why have the rip cord ring on the rear take down pin, not like you ever need it

I have it on there for ease of extraction until it gets worked out a bit.

This is my first one so all I can really comment on is that it is easy to flip up by pressing the tab on either side. You can do this with your hand on the grip. You can also "Karate" chop it from the top in the middle where it folds and this will also cause it to pop up.

For me, it's basic and serves its purpose.

I am in the south bay. I would love to go out tomorrow but the wife and I have plans and since she is the one who bought me MOST of my stuff.... I must be a good husband and keep her happy.

Not to mention she is an awsome wife and mother.

I assure you sir it is a bullet button. I stated it in my first post as the first item as it is important. It was purchased on calguns. See pic's

Let me ask you this....

Isn't it best to store the mag in it as the "fixed Magazine" should always be followed?

Is it best to store the rifle with the hammer forward or back?

Is it best to store the rifles BCG forward or back?

I am asking serious questions not being a smart ***

Could I get someone's opinion on this issue please? I want to make sure I dont add additional stress on parts/springs if it can be avoided.

Personally, BCG forward into battery and hammer fired. In no way have I ever weakened a spring but I honestly don't think you could unless you shoot your parts out by dumping a case a week on ammo.
