I was at the Del Mar gun show today and saw a dealer with a new Marlin 39a for $550. Another dealer had the Henry golden boy for $450. I have a 70's 39a Octagon and have to love it since it was first gun, it is reliable and accurate. But that Henry seems pretty nice ... much smoother action than my Marlin, and it has the brass receiver and butt plate, octagon barrel. If I had to do over again ??
