Well just looking at the picture, it does NOT have a bullet button. Since it has the pistol grip it must have a bullet button. Also the ad does not specify how many american made parts are used on this rifle which speaks to whether it is 922r compliant.

So, no this is not calif legal.

so it doesnt matter if the mag well only accept mags that hold 5 or 10 rounds ? Were there ever single stack AK mags made that hold over 10 rounds?

Classic Arms does not ship their "black rifles" directly to CA, nor did they accept my cc with an address from CA, but with the request to ship to AZ. Forget the lo-cap WASR and pay a little more for the hi-cap WASR 10. Unless it's an outstanding deal ($250 ish) and you feel you can modify/convert the magazine well yourself to accept standard double stachk AK mags.

I'd rather pay a little more for that than have to grind out the magazine well myself, and be able to accept standard (10/30) AK magazines. They'll also ship it with an Assault Planet magazine lock to make it CA compliant.
