No need for the LaRue on BCM since they park under the FSB. I'd pick something smaller/lighter - and maybe even go YHM to save $ since nothing is more simple than a GB. Just get it installed by someone who can pin it.

0.750" is the correct diameter - just to verify.

The LaRue and MI gas blocks cover the scars left on the barrel after removing the front sight.

The smaller gas blocks don't cover the scars.

Ehh, well i ordered the 'short version' of YHM's gas block. I plan on going to you AR15barrels to install a new FH, handguard, and gas block, is there anything you can do to hide the bare metal that will show when the gas block is installed?

Touchup bluing is about all you can do without blasting and re-parkerizing the whole barrel.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Daniel Defense clamp-on low-profile block, which covers up the FSB scars and is very securely clamped.
