Thanks folks - looks like I have to come up with some form of bullet button for a Bren gun and make 10 round mags. OR buy a house in nevada of course.Comment

A raddlock type device for the mag catch would work with a pinned mag

greatest machine gun ever IMHO - brough in in 1938 and were still in service with british army until 2007 (albeit in 7.62 x 51mm). They were incredibly accurate - in fact I have been told that that was why they tried to phase them out in the 1960s - because they were so accurate that spraying lead wasn't sprayed widely enough at distances of 100 -500 meters.Comment

A bit off topic, but someone should make a flowchart illustrating the hurdles involved with ownership of NFA items in California. IE trusts etc...
