Check out the VZ. 58 from Czechpoint USA, it's said to be more accurate than the AK. I haven't shot mines yet so I can't validate the accuracy on it.

There is no AK that will beat CZ vz.58 in accuracy, for that matter, pick any category, vz.58 is the winner, forget AK's

How bad would the accuracy/precision of this be?

Interesting thread so I will just throw this out there on an old thread.

7.62x39 has a limited case capacity compared to it's Bore size.
So it is Underbore. 35.5 or 6 gr. (H2O capacity) if IIRC. So given that, you are limited on external ballistics. BC and velocity.

The Russian commercial and milsurp ammo can get maybe 2 to 3 or 4 MOA (And Accurate and Precise enough) out of what the round was designed to shoot in. It is what it is.

So OP you have the best rifle for that already CZ527.
Now just add the best ammo.

And no My SKS nor my Saiga will never eat that pricey ammo due to $.
I would run it out of a CZ527 though.

Once you go to stamped you can expect 2"+ groups. I can do 2"-3" groups on my SLG-20.

I shot a wasr recently a co-worker bought and on a rest, best I could do was 4"-5" groups.

Anything milled ak wise is better than stamped(less flex)

I use to shoot a Mini-30, it too was in the 2" range @ 100yards.

+1, Im not sure if this would be considered accurate, BUT, me and my friend were able to consistantly hit a cantalope size target and bowling pins at 220yards with a Bulgy SLR95. I agree the milled Arsenal AK's are more accurate than your typical stamped AK. We never shot at 100yds, too close.

Perhaps if somebody who can shoot well, can test a Arsenal SAM with some good reloads or good ammo? Perhaps you can get 1" moa groupings. I think it would be possible. Unfortanately i dont have my SLR95 anymore becus of our dumb laws.

I have a Norinco SKS that shoots MOA with Yugoslavian Privi-Partizan, but not with any other ammo.

That is great. J never had that joy shooting Wolf though.
Of course I never shot that rifle either.
