I paid the $350 annual membership fee at ASC, in the end if you go more than twice a month, it's totally worth it.

They are AR friendly although they won't sell you one.

The guys there seemed very professional and are nice to me.

What's nice about being a member is you can make reservations and you jump to the front of the line if there's a wait.

The ammo they sell I think is reloaded for $13 for 9mm, $15 for 40SW, and I think $18 for .45acp.

I haven't been to any range that doesn't rip you off a bit on ammo.

Since I use their facility a lot, I don't mind patronizing their business more by buying some accessories and some packs of ammo from them. I also bring my friends there.

I do wish they were slightly more strict about safety. I had a butt puckering moment when some dude rented a PX4, somehow threw the rifle down range then used a broom to bring it back... loaded... with the barrel pointed at me.

+1 for South Bay Rod and Gun in Dulzura. 60 annual fee. Long drive but it's definitely worth it.
