    CETME Flats

So, I noticed that there are G3/CETME flats on Gun Broker. I know that there are AK flats that one could build a rifle on here. I know that AKs are hard to build from a kit due to having to bend the AK flat in a very specific manner. Is the process of turning a CETME flat into a rifle similar? Can someone tell me how this process works? I am looking into getting a CETME. PICS?

the CETME/G3 flat is a more complicated bend to be made usable. Plus it has to be welded together, whereas the AK just gets riveted together. Overall, the G3/CETME is more complicated than the AK to build.

There are bending jigs out there.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Any HK 9 series type frame flat build is beyond most home builders.

The specific bending, forming and welding calls for precision far beyond the AK flat type bending and riveting process.

If you want to build your own 9 series rifle, start with a completed receiver from a relaible source.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.
