I was going to get either a Tango down or LarueFUG and came across this. I've never seen one. Is it a quality grip or is it some cheap airsoft deal. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Tim

MAKO normally does airsoft stuff, which sometimes gets used as cheap AR stuff. I dunno if I would spend the money on it.

Go with the LaRue FUG - you will never want another QD grip. The TD QD is a close second, but LaRue rules.

Yeah, $40 bucks for Mako anything is a rip off. I have yet to try the FUG but I love my TD stubbies.

It's built like a tank, seriously, if I run out of ammo I will dismount this thing and club people with it. It's pretty heavy, but is nice for uneven surfaces and stabilizing your shots. not great for cqb. Way better imho than the grip-pod.

I can't speak about the airsoft BS, but I can say that my grip is bada**.
