    Nikko Stirling Scopes

    Hey guys,

The new Turners ad is up a day early. It has a much better format than the old ads I might add. Anyhow, they have a Nikko Stirling scope for 40 bucks. I'm pretty new, and have never bought a scope before, in fact, i'm not even sure I have a rifle I can put it on. Currently, I own an SKS, AK variant, 91/30, and a M96 Swedish Mauser. Would I be able to put this scope on any of them without buying crazy expensive mounts? How do Nikko scopes match up against the other brand names? Hell, for 40 bucks, is it worth it to put it on my Daisy?

I'm not a fan. Wait until you need a scope and then invest in a good one.

Agreed. You don't need it, and I wouldn't alter the Swedish Mauser and top it with a cheap scope. You get what you pay for...

There are no good cheap scopes.

If your scope doesn't cost in the range (or order of magnitude thereof) of what your rifle costs, it's prob not a good scope.
