First Ar-15

I am in the midst of putting together my first AR-15 , I have the parts to complete my lower and a a-2 buttstock . My main concern is accuracy as this will be primarly a target rifle with the possibility of a few yote hunts but I need to be budget minded on this and strongly prefer to purchase a complete upper locally in So California . I have been looking at the stag 6H and its listed in places as having a 1/2 moa Guarantee , When I asked a dist. that has made the stament I was told that Stag would not be pinned down to what ammo was used.
I understand the difference between 5.56 and the .223 and have reloaded for many years , I went looking for chamber dimensions with no luck, I understand the leade is longer for the 5.56. any help there?
As stated above accuracy is important and with my eyesight it will have to be scoped, I also prefer not to have a flash hider/brake on it or any sights.
I am seeking comments on the stag upper and suggestions on other uppers to meet my criteria.

It can shoot half moa at 100 yards. ive gotten those results, but i havent shot it in a while as I have a larue upper I like to shoot more.

as for ammo, you want to use something like 69gr SMK, or mfg ammo like the PPU 75gr match ammo, or even black hills match stuff if you can afford it.

If you had to pick a single type of ammo that would be used across the industry for accuracy testing, I would say it would be Federal Gold Medal Match with the 69gr Matchking bullet.
The 2nd load I would pick is Winchester with the 45gr hollowpoint.

I think stag is ok but from what others have informed me for 120 bucks more you can go top of the line with white oaks armament.

I don't understand why the newbes here spend 3500+ on taticool AR's with optics.. I can build milspec rifles all day long for under a grand..

Steveo hes looking for a Stag Model 6 which is a Varminter 24 inch barrel. The upper alone weighs in at like 8 lbs. a complete stag model6 is about 10 lbs without a scope. I just weighed mine.
