HOOOAH to My Re-Configured M4223-U15 Rifle

For those who are wondering, here's the ingeredients.

Stag 2H Upper with Stag Comp Muzzle Brake.
    Stag-15 Lower.
    Stag LPK
    ARMS 50C
FACOG Scope (This was given to me free when my cousin upgraded to the real thing)

    JOE

Thanks to Grant, I am now able to shoot this more comfortably from a gripless configuration.

Xeno, nice to meet you at the SJ Show, thanks for urging me to get cash instead of cc.

Is the mag the sterling brand that fits the AR15 and the AR180 ?

I still have a box full of those that I never sold from my gun show days.

Yep, I am still looking for a few more I have stashed in my duffle bags. I already have the anti-tilt followers to replace them.

Unfortunately it is not Trijicon, it is a FACOG . Good thing about it, at least for me, I got it for free.

And I like it. It holds its zero just fine.

Unfortunately that U-15 stock has never grown on me. MM or fixed mag for me!

                    That is a magazine.

This, however, is a bananna clip:

Dude what the HELL is that butt stock. the rifle looks great all the way from the tip of the barrell till you get to where the butt stock begins then the picture gets blurry and my eyes go in funny directions.
Good god man thats like cutting off your left nut jsut because.
Seriously the rifle looks great. Too bad you had to do that butt stock in order to have it legal here ( Im assuming thats why it was done)

                          No it's a muzzle brake.

The original build was a fixed mag build. But, I got tired of breaking it open after shooting 9 rounds out of it so I went to a gripless build.

That was awesome but it puts a lot of stress on my fingers when rapid firing with my pre-ban mags, specially with the 40-rd ones. And it is kind of awkward clearing a misfeed or double-feed and so on.

I have not shot my AR with the U15 configuration but I can already tell that it will be better.

So that is why this was done.

My 6.8 build will be with the button lock.

Nice looking rifle Joekilla! Let me know how you like the U15 after you shoot it.
