Scope Risers/Mounts?

I'd like to know: if I put a scope on a quick-disconnect mount or riser, to the top rail of my AR upper, can I take the mount/riser+scope on and off the upper without having to re-sight or adjust the scope? (I think that's called 'zeroed' but I'm not sure.)

Quality ones will maintain your "zero".

ie. quality scope, and quality mount/rings

eg. Larue's will

My LaRue mount seems to return to zero after removing and replacing the scope......but I put it back in the exact position on the rail that it was on when I took it off. LaRue = Good Stuff!

The important thing to stress is QUALITY parts. Don't buy junk and you'll be just fine.

The difference between the quality riser and cheaply made ones is play, the more expensive risers fits nicely while the cheap version has about 1-2mm of play. However, there is a work around, that is if you dont mind marking your receiver with alignment lines or notches.
