    Buffer Tube

    Does anyone on here know how to remove the buffer tube from a RRA pistol lower??

    Drivin me nuts!!

    with a little elbow grease!!!!! wells theres 2 ways the groves line up to a wrench but you are looking to scar the purty tube or you can use a strape wrench which works wonders

            As mentioned above, it is easy to scratch the buffer tube and the castle nut if you aren't careful with the stck wrench. I haven't tried a strap wrench but I'm sure it would work just as well, if not better.
            its a pistol buffer tube there is no castle nut

                  btw if you plan on reinstalling it and you are afraid of it coming loose find the spot where it is hand tighten and mark it and notch the tube so the pin help holds it in place

                    i got yelled at on this board for using a hammer and a flat screwdriver, but thats what i do. its like a box-end connector for conduit. just tap the direction you want it to turn... oh, should be noted, its gonna leave a mark.... some of these purdy boys dont like that...

                      Ha I used a torch and heated it up. Broke the strap wrench I was using. but got her off with mucho damage to the tube.
