    clamped and welded mags?

I wanted to know about the legality of clamped or welded mags. A company would not ship attached 8 rnd mags because they exceeded 10 rnds total to CA, I think they may have been spot welded together. So I was wondering if clamping or otherwise nonpermanently joing two 10 rnd mags together was legal in CA?

Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Yes as well as mags that are attached, top to bottom, back to back that are welded together etc..

Well its two mags welded together. each mag cannot hold more than 10 rounds. I guess as long as youdont cut and weld two mags to make them a higher than 10 capacity. I still wouldnt do it.

I have one of those.... its really not all that cool, the feedlips get dinged up a bit and the AR7 started out being picky.

this has been covered... albeit a while ago... the consensus was that it was legal, if not advisable
