OLL spring buffer plate help.

    OLL spring buffer plate help.

    for the life of me, I can not get this spring to the rear take down pin. any advice? stag seems to have a tight fit.

    Make sure there is no debris in the hole...

    back the buffer nut all the way,
    screw in your tube till it retains the buffer retainer
    turn the tube till the plate is off to the side closest to hole
    drop in the pin,
    drop in the detent,
    drop in the spring,
    turn the tube a bit
    push the plate down
    then tighten your nut while watching the spring

                  im in san diego... mira mesa to be exact. i googled and found a guy who tapped his to make it easier to fit on arfcom. he had to cut a few coils off the spring and used some size 40 allen heads. might try home depot tomorrow if i can find springs locally.
