Go with an AR in .308 if you want to get out to distances 5.56 can not reach, it's that simple. You're looking at a bigger gun, a longer barrel, slightly more expensive ammo. My AR10T with 24" barrel is a beast compared to my AR15 carbine. Each gun will do some things better than the other can do. The carbine has an acog and red dot for fast target acquisition, while the AR10 has a big scope and bipod. Different tools for different jobs. It all depends on what job you want yours to do?

AR15 vs AR10

What's your budget? As already mentioned the AR-15's are standardized and one lower works for all uppers, allowing more flexibility, and there are tons of uppers and parts available for the AR-15. I want an AR-10 too but everything costs 50-100% more. There are two styles of uppers and lowers that aren't interchangeable. I want the knockdown of the 308 and the longer range (yeah I know you can build a AR-15 for long range, but it won't put down anything much over 2-300 yards) What are you going to do with it?ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕPSN Id: FNChesterCertified Welder-ANSI/AWS D1.2 1F/G, 2F/G, 3 F/G up to 1/2 plate aluminium GTAW. &
