AR Slings

I need a sling for my AR15... I've seen them on sites but it's hard to get an idea of their "look" and functionality on flat ground anyone have pics them on their rifles on their person or hanging?

Looking for one with metal clips / snaps.. not plastic unless very heavy duty

i suggest a padded vtac 2-point. you can sling it and cinch it tight.

Jon, unrelated question, but why does the U.S. flag decal on your stock have the star field on the right hand side? I know there must be a good reason for it, as I've seen it that way on other rifles used in high power competitions. It just seems more "correct" (to me) to have the star field on the left side. Some kind of flag etiquette thing?

Stars fly forward.

If I had the sticker on the left side of the gun, the stars would be on the left (traditional look).

I configured my LaRue Vtac sling like that at Ironman because I had forgotten to put a front QD socket on the front of the gun before I left.
It worked so well that I think I would do it on purpose next time.

We had one stage where you had to move with all 3 guns and slung guns had to be unloaded.
I just let the AR hang in front while loading the shotgun on the way to the next shooting position.

Here's Travis doing it, but he just runs with both guns.



I don't run as fast so I have time to load while I'm moving...
