Should I get my HBAR reprofiled?

I've never had a problem with my16" Colt HBAR but I'm really tempted to go lighter by either buying and installing a new barrel or getting the existing barrel reprofiled.

Any opinions? Should I get a new barrel instead of reprofiling? Should I even bother? Will I be losing anything by losing the HBAR?

Keep the genuine Colt parts the way they are. Buy a light weight bbl or upper.
The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

Some idiots are too busy knowing it all to ever learn anything
