    Does anyone remember "Stock Options"?

I was curious if anyone knows what became of Stock Options out of Santa Ana I believe..

    I need a...sleeve.. for a side folder that I purchased from them...must have been 1994 or 1995.

    Any leads?

      It was a long shot.
I Googled them and nothing came back that way.. so I thought I'd see if anyone had contact info.
It looks like I'll have to fab something up.

      Thanks.

        Stock options

Yeah sure, like puts and calls on IBM, straddles, put spreads, etc. I also remember employee stock options at employers like Enron'
        Hope this helps.

Looking for a part for an Ace type side folder. There was a hard plastic "sleeve" or maybe shroud that covered the aluminum block that would mount into the AKM type receiver.

Unfortunately, the plastic has degraded in such a way that it is btrttle nad has cracked and fallen out.
It is more than a trim piece as it fills the gaps and secures mates the block into the reciever. Screws hold the block in place but the sleeve or shroud povide the friction fit ( however it is said) that keeps the whole assembly stable.

I'm thinking I can subsitute some oak or walnut that I have in the garage and make a sleeve..but would rather just buy a replacment part...the thing was very well made except for the quality of the plastic in the sleeve thingy...it's sitting on a shelf right now so no hurry.

Just on vacation right now so looking to get some things crossed off the list.

I remember them...had a great Galil-type folding stock for my Maadi back in the day. Made from tube steel, not molded plastic like that Tapco stuff.

Thanks for the leads. I emailed ACE and we'll see what they have to say. Thanks again.

Nice. Way to go Vltor. You get the better ergonomics and storage..and QD sling mount...hmm...

I might have to go that route myself...

                      Thanks for the link!

to me they were the birth of the 10 parts rule on aks

their folder was amazing it was oem on the sidefolder olympic ar-15s

but i traded it off and bought the bulgarian kit from them but the plastic they used would melt my handguards got soft and before i knew it they were out of biz

still have an ad from them if anybody wants me to scan it

Just got an email from Tim at ACE. They are not an incarnation of Stock Options.
