DRT Frangible ammo .223

Does anybody have any experience with this ammo? The specs and videos on their website is impressive. I got my hands on a few boxes. It's expensive so I haven't tried any.

Is it worth the price and does it perform as claimed?

Shoot it into some balistic gelatin and check

Penetration is absolutely key to "stopping power".

DRT ammunition has minimal penetration due to being frangible.

It's very impressive on water jugs and soda cans, but doesn't give the penetration needed to be effective.

Plus, it's expensive to the point of absurdity.

Get some Hornady TAP if you want good defensive ammo.
