First AR...Kinda Like a First Baby, Had to Share!

OK...so I'm a newbie to AR's! I get it. I see something shiny and just gotta to have it. Here's the new AR build and I'm kinda excited. Just thought I'd share. Doesn't have glass or frills yet. Waiting for my flashlight mount, bipod and optics but here's a pic of her without all the fancy stuff.

    Nice!

List the parts you used for your build!

Shoot it a lot now, because soon it will grow up and leave for college.

Did you do fixed mag for top loading or a bullet button?

Bullet Button. I also got their cool little Bullet Button Wrench. Makes install a breeze and you can use it as the "tool" to disengage the mag.

Are you talking about screwing it in to the bullet button? If so only after you put your 22 conversion kit in it or go out of state right?

Are you referring to something like a RadLock bullet button? Has anybody had a problem using these?

hes talking about using the wrench as a tool... screwing the wrench in to the BB in this state with out being in the right config is a no-no!! If hes just pushing the BB with the wrench hes fine. I was just confirming he was using the wrench in the intended uses only

The radlock is nice...i have one but i dont like how the hole for the tool is smaller then the BB making it harder to find "the hole" when im in a rush to reload with my finger tool

Of course I'm keeping it completly compliant. Using it to screw in the nut durring install is no different than using a screwdriver. But if and when I use a 22 kit I will have no problem keeping it in there as a mag release button.
