Just got my Mini-14 trigger back from Bill Springfield.

Sent in my trigger pack last Thursday, got it back in the mail today (less than one week later). That's FAST. And the trigger is freakin' awesome. All for $35 (which INCLUDES return shipping!). Big thumbs up for this guy. Does all kinds of trigger work, too. Thinking of sending in my PTR-91 and M1a trigger packs now....

    Here's his website: http://www.triggerwork.net/arparts.html

All you have to do now is send it to Carl at

I'd say it's a pretty good difference. Haven't put a scale on it yet, but it feels significantly lighter and crisper. His website says 15% lighter than stock, but I think that's waaaay conservative. I'd bet he took off at least two pounds. It's surprisingly light.

Will definitely send him more work in the future.

I sent mine in, waiting for it to come back. Was told the work would take between 16 and 20 weeks so they must be pretty busy. I went for the bedding and a new barrel, threaded muzzle and a few odds & ends. Carl called me a few times to double check what I wanted, make a suggestion or two. Seems like a good fellow to deal with.

Just a Bushnell Elite 3200 10x Mildot I had lying around. Might buy the Nikon Primos 3-9x40mm scope for it, though. Thinking of making the Mini a coyote gun, and a fixed 10x might be too much.

Bill is the MAN! He's done several trigger jobs for me.

Had Bill work on my stock AR trigger. He is awesome. It now has a 3 lbs pull and almost no creep. He will be doing all of my triggers from now on... it was a two week turn around.

Bill has one of my triggers right now. Stand up guy on the phone, but horrible to get a hold of via email.
