A plain old 11.5" upper with FSB and carry handle (not a bolt on) upper?

I don't need handguards. Don't need an FH. Without BCG is OK too.

Don't want to spend a boatload either.

Sounds like you need to start with the upper receiver of choice and build from there.

Yes, ouch on the TNT price. Saw that.

2nd home is in Oregon so shipping on others no problem. I think the GB route for barrel/FSB and Brownells upper is the way to go. About $350.00 not so bad.
