Hard pass, I’m tired of buying the cheap version of what I really want. Buying less and spending more. I have enough generic guns. Getting into the nice stuff.

Noveske makes them. Anything they make is at the very least going to be pricey. I have a Recon Hunter 5.56mm rifle from them. It's incredibly accurate and reliable for a 16" AR. It's pretty sexy and fun to shoot. Gotta assume their PCCs will be as well. Getting one here in CA might be challenging.

I?m not a giant pcc fan so I couldn?t tell you. I have a aero 9mm and it?s pretty blah. Might as well just shoot 5.56. I?m not impressed with the performance and weight compared to 5.56. The 5.56 actually has less recoil and better ballistics.

The only upside I see to a 9mm carbine is slightly cheaper ammo and it’s allowed at more ranges. Now that I got some private property with a nice range it’s sat in the safe.

Upside is that you already have a ton of mags for it if you are a Glock guy. Which I am. Also means all the mags you are carrying would work for both your pistol and your carbine. The interchangeability of that is appealing. Grab a mag, it's gonna work...regardless of what you stick it into. If I come across a 9mm pistol lower here in CA, and I happen to have the money, I'll probably go down this rabbit hole. Can't see doing it over a full length rifle. But I may change my mind in time.

That would be JP Precision. GMR-15 is the latest version. I owned an earlier model and it was exquisite. Bring your Visa Platinum.

As cool as it sounds I?ve never needed magazines to be interchangeable and I also have tons of AR mags. A PCC is just an underpowered rifle. Might as well use a rifle.

PCC are great for competition toys but they are range toys. The best use for a pistol caliber round is to fight your way to a rifle.

I agree, I would only want a PCC as a plinker for fun or as a camp/backpacking carbine. It wouldn't for home defense, SHTF or competition. Sort of a grown up 10/22
