SCAR 17 HELP - which position to pin the Ugg boot??

Getting a SCAR 17 and going to go featureless. Wondering which position (1-6) I should pin the stock at.

I know this is subjective and depends on your size and preference but I have only shot one years ago and don?t I?m not going to be able to try it out beforehand.

I?m 5?10 and looking for guidance from others. I know where I like my AR stock and it?s somewhere in the middle on the buffer tube.

Measure the LOP on your AR and tell the guy pinning the SCAR what it is?

You don?t have to pin the stock, just choose a length and wedge a lego or some other plastic item behind the button (remove back plate and insert the item behind the button). You can always adjust the stock to a different length with this method.

I wedged a 9mm or 10mm (can't remember) socket in there. Fits absolutely perfect, no rattling noise, absolutely zero travel on the button, and will not break. I was afraid a plastic piece would break if someone tried to depress hard enough (probably not a LEGO though).

Which shops will accept a FFL transfer of a scar without it pinned already?

And what about the folding? Is there a way to fix that without drilling holes?

Use this but i believe it requires you to remove the hinge pin first.

Or use this one. Easier to do.
Color : Black The Folding Stock B-Lock is used to prevent the folding of the standard stock on the FN SCAR rifle. This is necessary in states where the overall length of the rifle would otherwise be less than the minimum legal length when folded and/or states that simply do not tolerate a folding stock. The stock button lock is installed in place of the standard stock release button and secured in

No shop will accept it without it being in California compliant configuration unless that ffl has an assault weapons permit, which most don?t have. Depending on where you?re getting it from, the best way is to just have the upper receiver (which is the serialized part), shipped to the ffl. The lower and the stock can be shipped to you at your house. You would just dros the barreled receiver. Then you can just set it up however you want.

You can also always buy direct from a company that doesn?t do any drilling of the stock. Riflegear is always good about not ruining anything in their conversions. Everything is reversible and there is no damage to anything. They also include all the parts that were taken off. They only have black in stock now but fde come in stock also.
