    20" PSA upper

I recently got a 20" PSA upper for $200, was on sale. I finally took it to the range today and I am impressed!!

It ate up wolf ammo like nothing. Was super smooth to shoot. And had zero hiccups.

I only shot around 100 rounds but with my other PSA dissipator, I didn't even get to fire 2 rounds of wolf ammo consecutively because it kept jamming constantly on the first fired round and wouldn't extract.

But anyways, for $200? It is a great upper! Super happy with it. I might pick up the 20" Premium with the FN barrel later on. Love 20" builds (even if they're featureless, I have gotten use to featureless).

I saw their A2 upper (20 inch FN barrel, fixed carry handle) and was sorely tempted to grab one. Not that I 'need' another AR but the A2 is a classic.

Do you have a link for that? I don't think i've seen the A2 fixed carry handle with the FN barrel.

I might pick one of those up as well! I love fixed carry handles.

Never a bad idea to have one stashed. There are some matches where you can shoot it in a retro class, that don't allow Pic rail carry handles.

Here's a link to an FN 20" barrel

Just the barrel is $329.99, but there might be a discount code.
I have at least one carry handle that goes on a pic rail, and still have a couple of NM free float carry handle upper assemblies. Was going to start high-power shooting and then they changed the rules to allow optics.
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

                      20" PSA upper

Nice for 200. Bca also around there.

My spa upper with psa lpk (with a2 stock and buffer) but for 370.

                      I?d take a $200 a2 upper

I've purchased a half dozen + PSA complete uppers and they've all been great, they're BCGs are second to none.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Those 20 inch rifles are nice rifles to shoot. I have an M16A2 clone and it is such a satisfying rifle to shoot. There is something just so pleasant about the A2 sights and how they are embedded into the carry handle. The adjustments are accurate and definitive. Plus they just shoot so smoothly.

Nice build. What stock did you get? I bought a PSA premium "A2" kit on sale last year. It's more like an A4 since it has the detachable carry handle. FN CHF barrel with chrome lining. I built mine on a bland generic APF striiped lower that I bought locally (nearest PSA stores are over an hour drive each way). It's a fun gun and I really like the classic lines.

Total cost including GI sling and front QR stud was $775 plus tax. Hard to beat. Have only put 150 rounds through it, but zero issues so far. Itching to build a 16" with MOE mid-length hg, collapsable stock (CTR maybe), etc. Kind of addicting.

                              Congratulations, OP. Nice looking gun.
i have a PSA 20" dissipator FN CHF upper and it's superb. Quite accurate and a pleasure to shoot, as stated above.
