    Scottsdale Gun Club

If I was a resident of AZ as well can I purchase a rifle in AZ (must be legal in CA obviously) configure with a BB (or disassemble the rifle) and bring it back to CA without going through the DROS? Or is that a no-no? How about doing the same with Pistols? Would the pistol have to be on the safe list?

    Thanks for the advice!

I always figurered if you own it why would you have to dros it here in cali. If you purchased legaly in another state I dont think you need to dros it here.

Anything that comes from out of state is supposed to be registered within a certain amount of days.

          Rifles are not registered.

If you're a legal resident of both states you can buy it in AZ and bring it here.

If it's a pistol you must fill out the registration forms.
