M16 full stock for adj carbine buffer tubes

Anybody know of any M16 style full stocks that will fit over an adjustable carbine buffer tube. Would like to be able to swap out stocks on a whim?

    Thanks!

    Welcome...

not that I know of... MagPul makes a fixed slip over stock for a adj. stock , will let you go fixed and remove for M4 style ( M4 adj.only legal with a maglock or rimfire?RAW(?)AFAIK)

maybe others may know... hang on... someone else will be along shortly

I?m pretty sure that if you want an A2 stock you have to switch your buffer tube. As others have said there are other styles of fixed stock that will fit a carbine buffer tube but they are not A2s (Vltor, Magpul, etc).

When I switched from A2 to adjustable carbine stock, I had to switch the buffer tube, buffer, and spring.

If you want an A-2 stock you will need the rifle buffer tube kit (all parts) as well as the A-2 spacer. If you use an A-1 stock you will not need the spacer as the stock is shorter. Save the carbine parts for another build. None of the carbine parts will work with a rifle stock.

Nope. It doesn't work that way. M16 stocks use rifle extensions/tubes.

The Vltor ARM rifle stock can be used with either extension. The Vltor is available in A2 and A1 length and comes with a lock that allows it to be used with a carbine extension. A GI A2 or A1 stock will not work on a carbine extension. There is no way to secure it.
