AK Lock Question.

So My buddy has had his ak for about a week now and just ordered a solar tactical lock for it and asked me to install it. It came with this bent widget thing and 2 rivets. What it is it and where does it go?

Thanks.. Seeing as how we only ordered the mag lock, it can be confusing when another part arrives along side, gives that "what that hell, did I install it wrong?" factor.

It makes accessing the safety selector easier without shifting your grip on the rifle. Here's a link to it on the Solar Tactical website.

I was thinking of drilling divets in a peice of scrap metal for the rivet heads to sit in and just use a vise to squeeze the rivets into place.

You can hit them with a hammer also if you dont have the rivet crusher.Take about 1/16th off the rivet and than crush or smash.
