    BCA 410 upper issue

Since this is on an Ar pattern rifle I thought it might fit here too even though it?s a shotgun upper.

The 410 upper will not chamber/go into a battery on a live round. Bolt closes kind of rough on an empty chamber. When a round is placed in the chamber and the BCG slams forward it will not go in battery. The extractor fails to go over the rim of the shell and dents it/bends it. When I remove the extractor and insert a round into the chamber, the bolt goes fully into battery without any issues.

Any ideas on how to correct this? Since this is the same issue I?ve had twice now I?m thinking of having BCA send a couple of different extractors to try and fix this issue but any simple home remedies?

    Pull out your bcg.
Try to fit a round into the bolt. Then you can see if the extractor can go over the rim.
If the extractor will not go over the rim. Then try different ammo.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.
    I'm Back.

It does go over the rim. I?ve tried 3 different brands of 410. It fits on the bolt face just fine when the BCG is outside of the receiver.

My first one (this is a warranty replacement) wouldn?t fit.

I snipped off about half a coil from the extractor spring and it is still tight but easier to get over the rim of the shell. BCA is send me another extractor to test out before I send this back for a 3rd warranty repair/replacement.
