    Thoughts on Christensen CA5five6

Any thoughts on this rifle? Want to purchase it from LGS, but haven't heard much about it. Thanks!!

Friends don't let friends buy Christensen Arms. Quality control is poor, customer service is worse.

Really?? Dang no wonder I don't see much talk about their rifles on here or on youtube. I really like the carbon fiber accents on the CA5five6

You're better off buying a BCM and adding carbon fiber accessories.

I'm looking for something I can purchase already done up, not really wanting to assemble a full kit or put much work into it. I'm new to firearms and just want a nice rifle/handgun combo to bring to the range. When it comes to my hobbies, I tend to like high quality goods and stick with them for a long period of time

BCM is good to go. You can go to a local FFL and find a complete rifle under $2k. Get a 16" barrel with the furniture you want and have confidence it's a weapon that you can trust your life to.

              1. Go to well stocked Local Gun Store (LGS)
              2. Purchase Daniel Defense California legal DD4
              3. Buy ammo
              4. 30 days later, go back and purchase Glock 19
              5. Or vice versa
              6. Buy ammo
              7. Leave the Porsche at home, drive the BMW SUV instead

Can't tell you anything about the CA5five6, but I have a Christensen Modern Precision Rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and can vouch for their sub MOA guarantee. If I was looking at an AR platform the CA5five6 chambered in 223 WYLDE would definitely be on my list. Christensen's are pricey but buy once cry once.

They are really awesome, we actually have them in stock at our Upland store and can move them to our Riverside store if you want to touch one feel one see one. I'll also give you better pricing then you will find online in store!

You may want to cool your jets. Posting two identical threads within a day of each other. A lot of people here just search by New Posts tab (either on laptop or Tapatalk) and it will show both threads.
